The Indonesian Food and Drug Authority (BPOM) announced the initiation of the Global Cosmetic Regulatory Network (IGCRN) during an event held in Tangerang on 2–3 October 2026. The platform aims to facilitate closer alignment across international cosmetic regulatory frameworks.
Key objectives of the initiative include:
- Strengthening multilateral communication and knowledge-sharing among national regulatory authorities.
- Enhancing consumer safety, quality assurance, and accurate product information for cosmetics traded across borders.
