Singapore: HSA registration support for unregistered medical devices

On 28 August 2026 the Health Sciences Authority announced a Registration Support Initiative for unregistered medical devices. The published abstract says the initiative is meant to help clinically important devices move from the Special Access Route onto a formal registration pathway, so supply that meets an ongoing clinical need is not left on a special-access arrangement.
